Turkish Delight Collection. From $99

I was watching the Euro Cup '08 quarter final match between Turkey and Croatia when I made this colourful, ultra lengthy necklace. Since I was cheering for Croatia, their defeat was disappointing. But because Turkey played so remarkably well, coming back from a goal deficit and upsetting the whole competition, I decided to name this new design collection after the tenacious little country.

This design series is totally unique because it uses all of the single treasures that I have tucked away; Czech glass, Oriental Crystal, individual Swarovski crystals and wayward pearls will find their way into these beautiful, silk-knotted confections and no two necklaces can be the same.

Crystal Pearl-suation. $120

The cutest white button pearls are combined with Oriental crystal round beads to make an innocent design that can be worn long, doubled for a shorter style, or layered with other baubles for a gamut of looks. Take this necklace from office conservative (but so pretty) to five o'clock flirt in the blink of a sexy, smokey eye.

Nicole. $82

These old glass pearls have been following me around for a long time so I decided that they needed a new lease on life. Salvaged from a very old broken strand, the rich ivory patina of the pearls is enhanced by the tiny beige silk knots in between. This strand measures about 3 feet long (give a little bit maybe) and worn long, is an essential tool to elongate the body and to focus the eye vertically. Wrap "Nicole" around your neck twice for a simple, classic double strand of heirloom nostalgia.

"Nicole" has been photographed by esteemed photographer Martin Prihoda for Next Door Style. Unfortunately, I don't have the rights to these images, but just knowing that he had this design focused in his lens is an honor, for he is a great talent.

I can see this opulent strand of Oriental Crystal and Czech glass floating down the aisle on a very darling bride, mother-of the-bride, maid-of-the-bride, or friend-of-the-bride. The graduated, faceted beads are luminous with their rainbow finish, catching the light and reflecting a rainbow of colour.

Knotty Girl. $78

This design is a departure for me because I'm not a chunky-materials kind of gal. However, as this necklace design started to present itself, I could see how very chic the oversized natural Jade beads would look. I chose to use the contrasting black silk to knot them on because I thought that it added an unexpected and retro detail.  

Old Fashioned Rose. $64

An uncommon cuff of Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls, glass and Czech glass made to wrap around your wrist and twinkle with rose light. This bracelet is as whimsical as it is lovely, and I promise that you won't be able to stop staring at your wrist when you're wearing it (but try to keep that under control before someone notices or things might get weird.)
