Earrings to get you compliments.
Debutante & Ingenue. From $69
Surprising colour reigns and the bold Art Deco shape rules in this design duo. "Debutante" is feminine in peach and baby blue while "Ingenue" is mysterious in dusky hues and fuschia. Both are long and will sweep your shoulders with modern grace. Two of my personal favorites.
Both are available in 14k gold fill and Sterling Silver. Elegant at 3" long and 1" wide. River shell diamonds are paired with Swarovski crystal.
Shandy. From $82
Like a wedding cake, these chandeliers are tiered and layered for a romatic and tasty treat. Whether you choose the subdued champagne shades of Smokey Quartz or the moody blues of Labradorite, these earrings will bring luxury to any gown - even one for a wedding.
Smokey Quartz is said to remove negativity and to bring happiness, probably because it has long been long held as a "good luck" gem.
Labradorite, only found in Labrador, Canada, is said to provide clarity and insight into your destiny. Apparently, it has a good reputation for attracting success.
Make Fireworks. From $55
Many times I only have enough of a material to make one, maybe two, of a design. This is how these pretty little earrings began. I had just enough of the vintage Rivoli Swarovski crystals to make two pairs, one in each colour. "Fireworks" is a simple style but burns brightly due to its abundant sparkle.
Cathedral. $95
Over many decades, Swarovski has produced some spectacular colours and superb crystal cuts, some of which are not made anymore. One of these vaulted cuts is the Emerald de Art, a rectangular crystal that was popular in the '50's through to the '70's fine costume jewelery. "Cathedral" takes full advantage of the vintage Emerald crystal, artfully using them like building blocks to create these stunning chandelier earrings.
I designed "Cathedral" in the two original colours that I could still find, Rose and Capri Blue. I am still sourcing Crystal (clear) and a vintage green - both proving difficult, but I will prevail!
Capri Blue "Cathedral" is currently retired until I can find some more of the crystals. Get the last remaining Rose pair before they disappear.
1.5" wide; 2" long.
Wood you Like to Dance? $56
Trying to incorporate natural materials like wood is tough for me because I looove sparkle so much. But as I began acquiring earthy materials, I realized that when skillfully mixed with crystal and glass, you can get delightful results, just like these earrings.
Sterling Silver and Swarovski crystal team up to add a little drama to the down-to-earth Tiger Wood rectangles, creating a unique set of chandeliers.
About 2" long.
Miss Beaux Dangles. $30
Just fancy enough, these Sterling Silver ear threads have sweet, understated flash. The Swarovski crystals peek at you with a pop of colour and guess what - they're interchangable! Additional sets of Swarovski bicones can be purchased for $6 a pair. These won't last long.
These hang about 2" from your ear.
Coco loco. $82
I love hoops, circles, ovals, and donuts (and eclairs, pastries and cream puffs...) So, when I came across these Tiger Wood beauties, I knew I must make something spectacular out of them. Paired with Swarovski teardrops and a delicate Sterling Silver chain, the 1960's flair of the "go-go" shape is updated to fit our modern day fashion.
Tiger Wood is a light material, so although they may look heavy, these earrings are easy to wear. The total length is 3" and the hoops are 1.5" wide.
Japanese Collection. From $49
This collection has been immensely popular with all ages and tastes. The Japanese Tensha beads add a touch of nostalgia and feminine glory with their hand detailed designs. The Sterling Silver huggie hoops are comfy. These are the last remaining designs in this series.
Flights of Fancy Collection. From $49
Women, be brave and try feathers! They are luxurious with a twist of sexy Seventies and when mixed with crystal, they are all elegance. No more inhibitions Girls, it's time to fly the coop!
Working with feathers is almost magical. Their warmth and softness is unsurpassed - clearly the birds know what they're doing. Each pair of earrings is different, like the feathers (and birds) themselves. My feather designs have been featured in a recent style shoot with Polymath Fashion, photographed by the lovely and ridiculously talented photographer, Ellen Ho of Hong Photography.
Nightingale nights. $90
Geometrics, shapes, trios, edges and symmetry - all of these please the eye and intrigue the primal part of your mind. Why? Well, I'm no scientist, but just being aware of this sure helps with design!
"Nightingale" has all of the mentioned traits and sparkle to boot! These are dark and mysterious and would be right at home in a smoky piano bar next to a lace cami and a decanter of smooth brandy.
Lady Belle. $82
A vintage twist on the chandelier, "Lady Belle" uses classic swirl-acrylic teardrops to add colour, shape and drama. Swarovski crystals add the sparkle. The design is classified as limited because though two were made, there is only one of each colour combo.
2" long; 1.5" at the widest part.
Travel to Bangle-Desh. $35
Who says you can't use bracelets for earrings? "Bangle-Desh" uses those super cool Indian bangles in an inventive way, as oversized hoop earrings with exotic colour and a soft jingle. Paired with Oriental crystal and 14k gold fill, these fun earrings look perfect with jeans. Remember, there's only one of each!
Coppertunity knocks. $75
Wholesome and Glam mix to make these stunning earrings. The wood fans represent the girl-next-door, the Swarovski crystals add a feminine touch to her and the copper chain is just plain Bad Girl. I love these with jeans and sweaters and they look amazing with the chic animal prints that are so now.
At 3" long, they are not for the timid! Shoulder sweepers for sure.
Boxing Elayna. $75
Vitrail is a very old school Swarovski colour and in my opinion, it's one of their best. "Boxing Elayna" is made with Swarovski cubes in Vitrail and if you thought think that cubes can't sparkle, well then, you're mistaken! These earrings shimmer like the scales of an exotic fish and the colour combo of Vitrail and 14k gold fill is intense, making "Boxing Elayna" a real luxury.
Just like Heaven. $49
These earrings are a perennial fave. Preciosa crystals have amazing clarity, and it seems that cascading them from a delicate Sterling Silver hoop showcases them just right. Currently available in 7 gleaming colours, but that can change due to sell out. Colours will retire, such as the Alaskan Crystal, which went to the Vault this past December (gasp!)
Heaven's Gold. $59
Just like "Heaven" but in majestic gold, gold, gold! Gilded like a cage and Gabriel's wings, these beauties will match the halo we all know you sport.
Riveting, isn't it? $48
Minimalism is good. Such as "Riveting," the pretty Sterling ear threads that show off a vintage Rivoli Swarovski crystal in a very simple manner. The crystal suspends within a light Sterling frame and as it swings, it throws sparks of light for quite the effect.
Farrah. $84
Fancy "Farrah" is fine in gorgeous semi precious stones, like Onyx, Crystal Quartz and Smoky Quartz. A curtain of Sterling Silver chain is arranged in an Art Deco way, the design inspired by the clever architecture of the 20's.
Be sure to visit "Love, Farrah," the complimenting necklace.
Pagoda. $60
The magic of the Japanese Tensha beads strikes again, only this time jet Cubic Zirconias come along for the ride. The Sterling Silver frame adds a modern element to the old fashioned feel of the floral design.
